In this two day workshop, students will explore the dualities of comfort and discomfort, learning to design, throw, and alter pieces that provoke thought, invite touch, and challenge expectations. Students will throw multiple forms with different curves and shapes

I will guide you through the techniques of basic slab-building and how to use templates to make your own unique bud vase. Once your form is finished, you will then be able to personalize your vases using underglazes and other unique surface decoration techniques.
